General

How does virtual healthcare work?

You book online, complete a short questionnaire, and connect with a licensed Canadian physician by secure video or chat, from anywhere, on any device.

Is virtual care as effective as in-person visits?

For many common conditions, yes. Our physicians follow the same clinical standards as an in-person clinic, and will refer you for in-person care whenever it's medically appropriate.

What do I need to join a visit?

Any smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera, microphone, and an internet connection. No app download is required.

Prescriptions

Can doctors prescribe medications online?

Yes. If medically appropriate, your clinician can write a prescription during your virtual visit and send it directly to our pharmacy network or your preferred pharmacy.

How do I get my prescription refilled?

Book a quick renewal visit. Your clinician reviews your file and, if appropriate, sends the refill straight to your pharmacy, many refills are completed the same day.

Are there medications that can't be prescribed online?

Yes. Controlled substances such as narcotics and stimulants can't be prescribed through virtual visits, in line with Canadian regulations.

Insurance & Coverage

Is virtual care covered by OHIP?

Many virtual consultations are covered by provincial health plans, including OHIP. Eligibility is confirmed during booking based on your condition and province.

Do you accept private insurance?

Many services are eligible for reimbursement through workplace benefits or private plans. We provide detailed receipts you can submit to your insurer.

Appointments

How quickly can I see a doctor?

Most patients are seen the same day, often within minutes of completing their questionnaire.

Can I change or cancel a booking?

Yes. Use the link in your confirmation email to move or cancel your visit at no charge up to one hour before it starts.
