Around 2.5 million Ontarians do not have a family doctor. For everyone else, even a simple appointment usually means days of waiting followed by a waiting room. For a refill, a sick note, or a quick question, that math stopped making sense a long time ago.
Health-E-Now is our answer. It is a virtual clinic built in Ontario, for Ontario, designed around one idea: the everyday visit should take minutes, not weeks.
What makes it different
Every physician on the platform is licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and we verify that before they ever see a patient. Visits happen over secure video or audio. Notes, prescriptions, and documents live in your portal, so nothing gets lost between appointments.
You will always see what a visit costs before you confirm it. Where a service is insured by OHIP, the physician bills OHIP for it; our billing page explains exactly how the pieces fit together.
What to expect from your first visit
You tell us what is going on in plain language, answer a short intake, and pick a time. Most visits start the same day. Afterward, your visit summary appears in your portal, and any prescription goes to the pharmacy you choose.
We are starting with the everyday conditions that make up most primary-care visits, and expanding from there. If you have been putting something off because getting seen felt like too much work, this is for you.
