A physician on the platform, on demand for your patients.

1. Your clinic staff initiates a case from your clinic dashboard, identifying the patient and the document or consult they need.
2. The patient gives explicit, on-the-spot consent to share their record with your clinic for that specific encounter.
3. Health-E-Now's matching engine routes the case to the next available independent physician on the platform.
4. The physician joins the video room (Daily.co, Canadian region) together with your patient and, if appropriate, your staff.
5. The physician makes the clinical decisions and signs the document. The signed PDF is delivered to your clinic dashboard and to the patient.

• Your clinic — initiates the case, hosts the patient, may participate in the consult with the patient's consent, receives the signed document.
• Health-E-Now Inc. (the platform) — provides the technology, matches the case, stores the record on the physician's behalf as their Electronic Service Provider under PHIPA §10(4).
• Physician on the platform — independent contractor, licensed by CPSO, insured by CMPA. The physician is the Health Information Custodian and is solely responsible for clinical decisions, the standard of care, and the content of every document they sign.

The physician on the platform is the Health Information Custodian under PHIPA. Health-E-Now Inc. stores the record on the physician's behalf as their Electronic Service Provider and agent. Your clinic accesses the record only with the patient's explicit consent captured at the start of the encounter, scoped to that encounter, and recorded in the platform's immutable consent log. Patients retain PHIPA §37 lock-box rights.

Your clinic pays a monthly platform fee plus a platform fee per consult. Health-E-Now does not bill the patient for these consults. Where the physician on the platform chooses to bill OHIP for an OHIP-insured service they provide to your patient, the physician handles that billing directly — Health-E-Now does not bill OHIP and does not direct the physician's billing arrangements.
